Mission Statement
On behalf of the Black Affairs Council we welcome you to another great year of purpose. BAC focuses on cultivating leadership, character, and dexterity. We will continue to be a stimulus for the University of Georgia and Athens-Clarke county community. BAC is dedicated to living the legacy and fulfilling the dream and we hope you too will be a part of our growth and progression. Come and join the BAC family meetings every other Wednesday in the MLC 248 at 6:15PM.

The Black Affairs Council (BAC) of the University of Georgia serves to assist the
University in meeting the needs of the Black student body. BAC works to preserve, enhance,
examine, and celebrate Black culture at the University of Georgia. To these aims the Black
Affairs Council shall encourage cultural diversity, articulate the concerns of Black students, and cultivate relationships with other student organizations and the Athens-Clarke County
community.
